Student Stories

I really enjoyed my program because of the depth of learning. This is especially the case with my shop class since the best ways to get a better understanding is with hands-on practice.

I received the International Entrance scholarship from Durham in recognition of scoring well overall in the IELTS test. The scholarship helped me purchase all of my textbooks and supplies, and also allowed me an opportunity to explore the beauty of Canada.

The General Arts and Science program has given me the confidence and clarity in the career path I have always wanted to take. It’s a program that caters to all- those who are uncertain and those who are certain of what they want to do. I would highly recommend it.

I was part of the Events staff team on the student council, worked with the Residence office and with Enrolment services through the International Work Experience during the summer. This gave me an opportunity to know more about the King’s community and meet new people.

As a UVic student, it’s amazing how much power you have to make a difference. Our students and faculty researchers are dedicated to solving humanity’s problems, and it’s satisfying (and fun) to develop a technology that has the potential to save lives.

I completed the Logistics and Supply Chain Management as well as the Project Management programs at Fanshawe- and graduated on the President’s Honour Roll. If you really want to do something and have the passion and the will, Canada and Fanshawe College will provide that.
