Maple Assist Inc. hosted an event celebrating the launch of the Maple Assist App at the Taj Mahal hotel in New Delhi.
The evening celebrations took off with a presentation by Saurabh Malhotra (Manager, International Recruitment and Market Development) from Fanshawe College, the first adopter of the app. Mr. Kevin Weaver, the Vice-President of International, Workforce Development and Partnerships at Georgian College, and Mr. Mark Herringer, Dean of International Education at Durham College, gave keynote speeches at the launch. They were both enthusiastic about joining this pioneering service.
The gathering of over 60 guests included Mr. Arun Pandeya, Country Head, Air Canada, Ms. Nadira Hamid, CEO of ICBC, and Mr. Hitesh Parashar, Country Sales Manager for HDFC Credila. Mr. Anuj Bhasin, Trade Commissioner for Education, Ms. Terrie Romano, Counselor (Economic Affairs-Ontario), and Ms. Carole Louve, Senior Immigration Officer (Migration section) were present on behalf of the High Commission of Canada in India. The formal presentations were followed by a dinner reception.
Scotia Bank, Air Canada, HDFC Credila, Indo-Canadian Business Chamber (ICBC), and Maple Leaf Educonnect are some organisations that support this new venture.
